This doll looked really cute on the picture but when we got it it was just spectacular, it is soooo cute. All adults and kids who werehere at the time of opening the doll were just going gaga over it.Disey captured the beauty and the likness of the Rapunzel character from the movie Tangled and at the same time the innocence of the toddler girl.It is perfectly proportioned for the litle hands and much much much better buy then a Barbie size doll for a girl 3 years old plus as this doll is recommended for 3 and above.The long hair the big eyes.. the innoncent face.. the cute night gown this doll is just so darn cute.Pros:BeautyPerfect LiknessProportions perfect for toddler and preschool girlSubstantial bodyCute and durable dressGorgeous hairRemovable dress - definiely a plus!Fully posablePerfectly sized for a doll strollers and prams - definitely an added bonus.Looks prefect in any girl's arms and her strollerCons:Price here on A. Just got one for my niece!Gorgeous! She loves the one that my daughter has and I just could not resist!Be careful though. There are lots of fakes that will look just like them on the picturebut you are not getting the actually exactly the same doll.. there are simply some cheapimitations that people are trying to sell as this doll. The imitations look alike but areshorter by two inches or so.. and the seller won't reveal it, and will use the picture of this doll and some stock packaging pictures so you think you buying THE doll and you are buying some bootleg and the quality is just el-cheapo. It looks like dollar store packaging and dollonce you have it in hand.This doll's price is over 150.00 on collector's so if someone is trying to sell it for around that, and it is really authentic Disney Store item then you are good, but if someone is selling for half of that that is a red flag - beware!. Especially sellers form overseas..Doll is a beauty if you get real and authentic First Edition one. The hair is so full and so long and the dress is just so a d o r a b l e!!!This is a budget version. Previous one - the Deluxe version of Prince with little figurine of Deer is much fancier, much better and much more elegant. I would go with the other one if you can find it - very hard to find but if you can't this one is okay.other then that.. read this:Some nice person there shared with me a curious wisdom aobut how it all works with Disney Princess movies, apparently most people know it already but for those who like me did not know:Disney company made all those charming Princess movies and basically after releasing each and every one of them they put the movie to so called valult. Whatever vault is.. in this specific case I have no idea, it is possible that they keep actual originals under the big huge lock but what it also means that the movies simply are not being offered on DVD's at all times. They are released and then back to vault for good decade or so more less.. and then released again.. and then back to the vault and so on..Now when I think back.. it is indeed the fact. I do remember having trouble finding a new dvd of Belle, Cinderella, Snow White at this time or the other and they were simply nowhere to be find in retail aside from some pockets of individual disks here and there. Nothing thoug available at major retails. I was able to buy either used discs or got as hand me downs but non the less it was hard to get them. Then I remember the re-release of Snow White to DVD just couple years ago? Or Belle also recently. So it is a fact that is easily verifiable by searching the whole Disney movie vaulting system.This however is not the end of it. What happens is - just to use most receant example of Belle that we all remember floading market with her image in conjunction with DVD.. you could easily buy Belle this Belle that.. all kinds of products in all flavors, sizes and you could find tons and tons different products at Disney store and Disney-licensed everywhere to sattisfy all your little one's needs, wants and dreams.Now when you look at what happens with the supply of Belle's product - it is obvious that however there is still a plenty, the variety is not as rich and the products are dissapearing from the market.. harder and harder to find what you are looking for and the price of those that entered the collector's realm are going up up up..So what happens next? There will be a time when people will looking for Belle movies and product and they will be just impossible to find except for few basics as usually, very basics. The years will pass and new generation of girls will be longing for Belle again.This happened with Snow White just as well, after having such a beautiful selection in front of us..The Limited Edition Doll.. the Snow White cottage collection with all it's gorgeous little people Princess, Prince with Horse and the wardrobe as well as portable cottage - all deluxe product of highest quality to meet needs of most discriminative tastes of customers.Now all those products are not available and what is also apparent with Disney is that they never offer the same design of the product twice once they pull it completly form the market. So those of us who were thinking that good things happen to those who wait and hoped for the prices of the LImited Doll, cottage and legendary dwarfs deluxe set to go down actually woke up to brutal reality of all of those item dissapearing completly from the market.Therefore back to where we started - since the collector's market for great quality Disney product is huge and it is only growing and since due to economy newer products tend to be less .. fancy..people are looking for good product that not only has sentimental value to them but also willkeep good resell value.Hence I believe that the limited edition and deluxe version of items that come along with movie release in short series, limited quantities and dissapear quickly will hold and increase in value as we all see what happened with the Snow White Limited Edition doll.It is obvious that the Limited editon dolls along with other deluxe products and limted releasesare going up in price and I hope that I was able to illustrate why.Happy parenting, buying, playing, enjoying, collecting, and investing in life little pleasures :)
